So I can guarentee you that, if you are doing a trade with me, it's either inked, drawn, or drying or something and about to be scanned.

Anyway.

I got the chance to do an art trade with the incredibly awesome, super spectacular, totally great and wondermaful and talented beyond all comparison really really completely AWESOMEORIFFIC !!! She was asking for art trades and I was like OMGFORSERIOUSLYIWANNATRADEARTSOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG and in my typically art ADHD habit, I messaged her and asked if she would like to do one with me. So we traded, and she did an IIIIIYEEEEEEEEEEEE ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG YEEEE HEE HEE HEE HEEE AHHHHHHH!!! EXPLODING EXPLODING EXPLODING EXPLODDDDINNNNGGGGGGGGG *flails with excitement and starts foaming out of the mouth psychotically*picture of Clarice! I wanted some of my newer characters drawn and the only one I had finished at the time was Clar, so I thought she would be awesomeness! And...OMG IF YOU DON'T LOOK NOW I'M GOING TO SLAP YOU!

So yes, she drew me Clar, and she asked if I could draw her fursona, Sari! So thats what I did! Here is my rendition of Sari! It was REALLY REALLY REALLY fun!

The only tricky thing was really just the pose. I actually was going to originally do a different pose, after looking at some Vogue pictures, but the pose for whatever reason was just NOT coming out at ALL so I had to sorta... rearrange her body, and a few other things, and eventually I came up with this pose and came up with something I had liked I wasn't super fond of the drawing at first but when I inked and coloured the picture I ended up liking it

I wanted to sorta throw in a Clarice-like style to Sari for fun, and I also got the idea that Sari liked blue, so I decided to give her a matching outfit since MATCHING IS AWESOME. I threw on a little tunic dress thingie, with BELTS, leggings, and then just sorta added in a few other little things. I really had this thing where I wanted to add a lot of belts, so... I threw on some belts to the leggings.

BELTS. ON LEGGINGS. OMGWHERECANIGETTHOSE????*flails wildly* And then... I also have an obsession with LEG WARMERS and thought I'd add some leg warmers here as well. And you can't forget about gloves! Because gloves. Are awesome. Very awesome. And if you wear them, it's awesome.

I was using one of my blue prisma's for the blue parts. And my prismas HATE me so I had to go over the blue a few times til the colour blended how I wanted.

I wanted to do something fun for the background and I all of a sudden got this idea to do a...LIGHTNING BOLT SHAPE THINGIE so I did. I did that same kinda technique, where I use watercolour pencil first, and then draw some doodlies with a marker, and then wash over it with water because I like the way it turns out

I need to find out where she got that outfit. Because plaid... NEEDS TO BE WORN.

But..you may notice something about the scan.

Isn't it...oddly...GOOD?.. I mean do you not feel your retinas NOT burning? And don't you actually think the colouring looks GOOD instead of really bad?

ISN'T IT BEAUTIFUL???? I actually for once didn't FREAK OUT when I scanned in the picture! This one, I will admit, I adjusted the colour a LITTLE bit in the scanner preview because it LOOKED bad at first, and then when I saw the actual scanned version it looked just fine so I didn't even need to adjust the colours. Because it actually SCANS THINGS PROPERLY AND DOESN'T MAKE THINGS HYPERCOLOURED.

It's....it's beautiful, everyone. It's a new era of scanning delight. An era where my pictures look decent.

*skips through a field of daisies and then accidently steps in dog poo*

Well anyway, I'm really liking the picture here. I had a lot of fun with this one, and I really hope that Sari likes it!

Her designs are just wonderful, her colours are always bright and fun, and she has a great array of interesting characters that you just can't help but love! Her artworks a lot of good stuff! She has a great mix of traditional and CG so yes GO NOW!
