Chastity Hassa Bubblegum

Bah. Back to some older pictures, but older pictures that don't make your little babies cry. Even tho a really evil little part of me wants to see babies cry.

Anyway. I thought I'd post up some of my more boringer pictures. Yes I realize boringer isn't a real word, but the Jess Dictionary has words that you've never heard of before, so to me, boringer is a real word. Just like "moopin" and "kanyewestisadouchebag".

Oh, wait. I think the last one is already a real word that we all know of and use on a daily basis. Never mind, then.

Also, this is random, but you know what's awesome? The fact that I'm actually kinda cold right now. I haven't felt cold for the last 4 months. It's a real beautiful feeling to know that theres a good possibility summer is nearly almost over and I'll stop sweating my non-existant balls off.

Anyway, so a while back I was just sitting there watching South Park or some of my paranormal shows and was doodling. I usually doodle when I'm watching tv; I like to watch shows I've seen a million times so I don't have to pay attention and I can doodle and not worry about missing anything. At this point, I hadn't drawn Chastity for a little so I thought I'd draw a picture of her again. She's fun, but a little challenging to draw at times. She's one of those SUPER SKINNY girls, but thanks to her mum, she has a booty and a nice waist-hip ratio. She actually hates being super skinny, but she has genetics to thank. (Don't worry, Chas. Many women would love to be your shape XD) Anyway, so I thought I'd draw her being cute, fashiony, and pink, like usual.

So here she is, blowing bubble gum, holding her cute pink purse, wearing a cute pink pinstripe dress, and well, just being cute. She has all kinds of cute clothes (thanks to grumpy older brother, Vince, who's a fashion designer. She gets all kinds of sample clothing! And the shoes. SO. MANY. SHOES. ) It's not particularly awesome, but I think it came out cute enough. Her anatomy is WAY WRONG tho. I was having trouble getting her body to look right, so instead she looks like a snake.

Oh, crap, Chastity might be a reptilian shapeshifter, too, just like Melanie in "WEE BUBBLES". But I guess her body isn't totally wrong. She's supposed to have legs that go on forever....But I feel her arms are too short so it just makes things look weird. Dammit arms are really annoying lately for me. Like I've said a million times before, I should really just give my characters tenticles. It would make my life so much easier.

And just so you know, the purse is supposed to be a Guess purse. Guess is my favourite expensive clothing store; I haven't shopped in it forEVER, but I just adore their clothing. She's got a cute little bow, too! I just thought Chastity in a bow would be super precious.

Hmm. Mac and Chastity look alike. Perhaps this means that if I were to put a bow in Mac's hair HE'D BE SUPER ADORABLE TOO. Perhaps I shall try it sometime.

Anyway. So here she is. I wanted to do something different with the background, and thought the whole watercolour background thing was getting a bit stale so I took some markers and just drew...um...flowers. I know, they look cheesy, but I still like them anyway. Chastity's so easy and agreeable; she's one of those characters where I don't have to worry about her looking too girly. Some of my characters...they just don't look right if I go too girly.

Tee hee, her dress is cute! I like to imagine that the black part of outfit (so, like the collar part...) and the main dress are actually two separate pieces. And look! She's taking some pointers from older brother Mac - I THINK I SEE A POPPED COLLAH. That's just so precious.

Anyway, this is an older picture, as you can see from the J.Ratte 2011 signature on the side there. But it's not that terrible I guess. I still like it for what it's worth.

You know what's interesting about this one? I actually think my scanner....scanned this one in...somewhat...decently. I mean it's still crap, but it's really not that bad. Most of the colours (aside for the black and the purple of her tights) scanned in okay and as they should. My scanner only likes a few of my characters, and Chastity happens to be one of them. Usually her pictures don't scan in that bad...

Anyway, just a blurb about Chas being skinny. I was trying to find a reference picture of a skinny-curvy model to show you what I mean when Chas is skinny-curvy. (There is one, I just don't know her name...) and you know what I get? Pictures people made saying that skinny is ugly/disgusting/not attractive... Seriously, could we stop with this shit? Seriously? GRAGADASFDAFFDSAFSD It pisses me off to no end when people say how ugly skinny models are and how they are all anorexic and terrible and men don't like them and yadda yadda. Alessandra Ambrosio is JUST as pretty as Whitney Thompson or Lizzie Miller or whoever. Can we just stop hating on women and just appreciate ALL body types? GRADFAFDSSAF! Sorry. I just had to get that out there.

Anyway. So here is Chastity! I just wanted to draw a fun picture of her so here she is! I like it, could be better but that's okay I guess! Like I said, it's kinda old, and I was still trying to get things right with my style and make it less shitacular. Actually this might be before I decided to do all that. I have no idea. Her hair covers her face so it's hard to tell. But either way, I like how she came out anyway. I wish she looked less...snakelike, but like I said, she's probably just, you know, a reptilian shapeshifter.

But I can't, Brain. Every time I search for something THEY ALWAYS POP UP. AND I CAN'T STOP CLICKING ON THEM ZOMG THERE ARE REPTILIANS EVERYWHERE INMYCLOSETMYDRAWERMYCOMPUTER GAHADJFSKLJFJLK;ASLJKD!!

Anyway, so just Chastity being cute as always. She's precious. And has lots and lots and lots and lots of pink. EVERYWHERE.
