What the hell is the point of wearing a belt if your pants still sag halfway down your ass?

He doesn't care tho. He knows he bad ass. And yes, dammit, he can wear a pink shirt and a pink belt and be manly.

On another note, fellas, HOW the HELL are you comfortable wearing your pants that hang so low? I can't STAND it when my pants so much as move from where they are supposed to. I think I wear tights simply because they hardly move.

Anyway. It looks like Eli can haz some dislocation too. With that arm over there.

Anyway. Enough chit chat. It's DESCRIPTION TIME!

So I felt like drawing another Elijah picture, because since creating Eli, I actually haven't finished a picture of him. The good thing about Eli is he's an incredibly flexible character, and even if I screw up his hair or something, he still looks right because of his slightly odd sense of fashion. Not as odd as Kai, but then again, what is "odd" anyway?

Anyway. So I felt like drawing Elijah being Elijah. Standing around looking awesome wearing random things he threw together with his pants hanging halfway down his ass. He is also looking rather bendable. Like Gumby.

Gumby bended and stuff, right? I dunno anymore.

I found this picture in a Vogue magazine, and it inspired me to draw up Elijah. Once again a pose from a female inspired me to draw a male character. Weirdness. It was a rather tricky arm position to draw, and it actually looks like he's stretching out his rotator cuffs ( See [link] ) but I suppose thats a good idea since whipping out MAD GUITAR RIFFS can be tiresome. Or maybe stretching out his elbows. Or something. I dunno. And apparently the hand there that is hanging off the arm to your right looks like he's pinching something.

Anyway, so here he is. I love his bumble bee arm band thingies! And yes, thats right. HE IS WEARING A PINK SHIRT. AND A BELT WITH SOME PINK ON IT. AND DAMMIT, HIS PIERCINGS ARE PINK TOO. Possibly to appease Chastity (since Chastity is attracted to anything pink). But could just be because pink is actually awesome on guys too. He doesn't care if others think it's girly. He's a rockstar dammit.

Anyway, nothing overly exciting. I just felt like drawing Eli and have some fashion fun. I love his vest thing. It sorta reminds me of something vintage, so he probably stole it from his parents closets (his parents 1970's garbs make for great fashion fun!) or bought it at a thrift store. (I love thrift stores myself - it's awesome when you can buy like five clothes items for like 12 bucks.) And for the record, he is supposed to look older then he is - 16 - so thats why he kinda looks older. He thoroughly enjoys hitting on college girls. And going to bars with fake ids. And getting his friends in trouble for doing the same.

I did the background with regular watercolours - I really like how it came out. It's fun to do backgrounds with watercolours, I like how it comes out all the time. Sometimes watercolour pencils don't give me the same effect.

And as per usual, I hate my scanner. Need I say more? Seriously? It really fucked up his arm there. I don't know whats going on there but the outline is all messed up and nearly transparent. Please, once again, ignore my scan. One day, just one day, I'll find a scanner that knows how to scan things.

Unless, of course, they are all like this, in which case, I'm screwed.

I love his hair. I just wanna shove my hand in it and ruffle it around. I think I added a new peircing to him too. My band boys seem to get new piercings every picture, don't they?

I certainly hope he doesn't apply for jobs for jobs with his pants hanging half way down his ass. Ftt. He doesn't care tho. He's gonna be a rock star. He doesn't need jobs.

(Then again, there are some characters that work at my job that I ask, how the hell did you get this job? So...maybe theres some hope for him.)

Anyway, just Elijah, being awesome. He's fun to draw. I want his wardrobe. Not his pants hanging halfway down my ass, but his wardrobe nonetheless.

(Out of sheer curiosity, does anyone know how to pronounce "Dehqan" and "Dakarai" ? I suppose I should give my characters names I can actually pronounce... hence him going by Elijah I guess. XD)
