So I just finished seeing Pan's Labyrinth the night before I drew this, on a Sunday at work.
Woah. Just...woah. What...a..delightfully...strange, and dark movie that was. And...that hall monster thing. How on earth did she NOT SHIT herself when she saw that??? I mean GOD... it...had...EYES....in it's...HANDS. Okay? EYES. And it's mouth.. just..gaped open. EW GOD. And it's skin was all saggy and nasty... The scary thing was that it looked so..freakin...realistic. 0.0
But anyhoo, I absolutely...LOVED... the faun. I thought he was possibly the most interesting faun I have seen. So, thus, I got inspiration to attempt to draw a faun myself.
Yeah, maybe I should take my inspiration and just shove it up my ass or something.
I mean it's not that it's bad, but... it's not very good. Actually I would like it a lot more if I didn't draw Play-do horns. Those horns are really hard to draw, and if I had a reference I probably would have come up with something slightly better. But alas, I pretty much suck. I guess I really don't hate this one, but I don't really like it either. It's just kinda..lame. Because it wasn't good enough to ink or colour, I just finished some shading and then left it as it is. I guess it's okay, but really I know I could do better if I didn't suck so bad at things like this.
I want my own giant pet faun to have and to hold and give me little root babies to put under my bed when I'm sick...
Anyway, if you haven't seen Pan's Labyrinth, I suggest you do. It's...very...interesting. Whether you like it or not it's worth the watch.
