I Has Toes

So I was like, so I was totally like I wanna draw some exciting poses....

And then I was also like, I was also totally like, I wanna draw some exciting facial expressions instead of having my character smile at us creepily because they always smile and its like WHY ARE THEY SO DAMNED HAPPY WHAT DO THEY KNOW THAT I DON'T OMG!

Is there something on my face? OH NOOOESSS!! *runs around screaming*

So yes. That's exactly what went on. So I was like, I think I'll draw Dakota, since I wanted to draw her more, and I always have trouble getting her down right for some really, really, really annoying reason (her hair is really complicated, even tho it really isn't, its just that, you know, I like, fail, and stuff.) so I was determined to draw a picture of her and get her right once in for all. XD And, I also wanted to have a slightly more exciting pose as well too, and for some reason, this pose came to mind.

I guess she's shoe shopping or something, and she tried on a pair of cute shoes, but she doesn't know if she likes them, or she sees something on her toe.

Or, perhaps she's debating whether or not to roundhouse kick someone in the balls or something. I dunno. Either way, it's Dakota, and she's sitting, and shes staring at her toes. It's quite exciting, dontcha know. XD I'm one of those people where sometimes, when I'm sitting there doing nothing, I'll wiggle my toes around and like, just stare at them.

This is probably, tho, because I really don't have a life. XD

Anyway, for the most part, I'm pretty happy with how this one came out The colours came out nicely, and it's always fun to colour Dakota's clothing because she likes bright clothing, unlike Mitch, her brother, who pretty much wears a variety of black and light black combinations. XD OH YAY OPPOSITES EVERYBODY! A few issues, tho ; I think her chest is bend awkwardly... I dunno, I don't think I should have done the boobs like that because of the position that she's in. It just looks like she's bent uncomfortably. I dunno, maybe she really IS sitting like that, but still. 0.0 I'm not particularly fond of the shadow, because it doesn't touch the bottom of Dakota in the parts where it should, like her hands, and her shoe on the ground so it looks like she could be like, about to levitate or something. I dunno. Maybe she reached enlightenment or something. I know that when I'm shopping for shoes, I totally reach enlightenment too. The only other thing that bothers the boogers (THEY'RE GREEENNNNN HUURRR!) out of me is the colouring on her tail... UGH! The black parts look like crap, because of the way that I had to draw her tail, so that way she would all fit into the picture (I'm really anal about that. I like for my characters to fit in all thier pictures, and hate cutting things off.) (Hur. I said ANAL! /immaturity) So... because of that, I tried to colour her tail with the...curve.... of her tail, if that makes any @!##! sense at all. Well it turns out that I really just failed. Her markings look like those crappy ass flame details that people put on thier cars. I think its totally time for her to UNPIMP ZE AUTO!

Anyhoo. Either way everything is still decent, and I still like how this one came out! The background was done with some watercolour pencils randomly coloured to make lots of colour explosions everywhere. And as you can see, I creatively drew a box around it, which we've never, ever, EVER seen me do before.

So yes, all in all I think this one came out nicely, and my scanner mostly spared it... Mostly. /Silence of the Lambs reference. XD Well, atleast it TRIED to scan this one decent. I think my scanner is perverted. It scans in my female characters a little bit nicer then my male characters. It likes scanning in thier boobs and feeling them up with its scanner light thing.

ANYWAY.

Just a random picture of Dakota, with a slightly more exciting pose for you all to be all like WOAH THATS AMAZING. And stuff. Yeah. XD
