...The title, just so you know, has nothing to do with the picture at all. For some reason tho, whenever I look at the picture, it just reminds me of Kriss saying hello. So perhaps, that is what she's doing.
Or sticking her butt out, which is also another possible solution.
Or, perhaps, telling you all about trigonometry, because she has many triangles all around. She's telling you all about obtuse ones... right angled ones... um...iso...err...*stops talking because all terms in relation to math have left her for the last 10 years.* She's telling you all about triangles.
Anyway, I did this one one day. I was greatly inspired by the most comfortable pair of sweatpants I bought that were on sale. For some reason, I really liked the idea of those sweatpants where the rim of the pants roll down, I really don't know why but it's just... sorta a fun way to wear sweatpants. I love how sweats are now becoming a more sexier item to wear for fashion because one should always be comfortable in what their wearing and look good too So of course, for sweatpant wearing fun, I thought I'd draw Kriss who is normally the type to wear track pants, sweat pants, and other pants that she can be comfortable in. So here she is, just being laid bad and things
I really like how this one came out... I love her hat! I thought I'd draw her with her hair down for once since it's been a while, and I came up with this I was partly practicing anatomy as well at the same time.
I think her proportions are kinda off, I never meant for her hips to be so large but I do like how her arms came out. I really hope that I didn't draw her hand all backwards and stuff... I really hope not because I like how it came out XD
For the background, I thought I'd try a different technique with watercolours that I tried on a previous picture before I finished this one. I took a wet bunch of toilet paper, dabbed it in the watercolours, and dabbled it on the paper, blending the colourings together but also making them all.. like seperate and stuff, to give it more a.. um...well I dunno.. dabbled...effect? I really like it because it makes the watercolour backgrounds a little more exciting, and it actually dries a little quicker too, and also, prevents the paper from folding all funny, therefore making my scanner less able to screw up my picture.
But of course, because my scanner has a vendetta against Kriss for some reason, it really screwed up her colours and make it all choppy and crappy like, so the colouring on her looks really bad on the scanned version ughhhh.....it's really irritating, not the mention the colour I used for her pants was crap and kept breaking everytime I sharpened it so I got really irritated and kinda made myself colour the picture faster, atleast her pants, so that I would be able to do away with the annoying pencil.
It's kinda hard to draw the folding over bend in the pants, so I know it kidna looks like popcorn. Or goo. Actually, mostly goo. Perhaps it's ectoplasm. Like this is haunted. *scary music starts playing* OH NOES NOT A GHOSTTT!! I think it's time to call Scooby and the Gang! (Really, do Scooby and Shaggy ever actually DO anything in the group? Honestly.)
...oh wait, says Scooby and the Gang... it's just another stupid guy in a costume, and after Scooby and the Gang determine his reason for dressing up, he says, "If it wasn't for you meddling kids, I would have gotten away with it!".
(That, my friends, is virtually every Scooby Doo episode.)
Anyway. For the background, I thought I'd make it more interesting by adding...SHAPES. Because shapes are my way of making backgrounds interesting. I actually ripped off my idea that I was going to use for a previous picture and used it for this one instead. I like how the background came out, actually, but because I messed up one of the triangles, I had to pretend it was a different coloured triangle and went over it a few times to make it darker. XD
Well either way, I like how this came out. Except as of right now I just realized that I forgot to go over her tail near her leg. Dammit. Now thats going to bug me forever.
Maybe she's doing like in this one Lowe's commericial where the guy sticks his butt in the grayscale dullness that lacks their amazing uberpwn flowers that sing opera music.xDD
No, if it's ectoplasm, you need to call...

Plus I find Scooby-Doo one of the most nauseating things on earth. The dog and the greasy stoner don't do anything but run around like morons, the ugly lesbian(?) solves the thing every time, the tall effeminate dude comes up with the Baldrick-esque plans that always cock up and the redhead just says "Jinkies" a lot.
And then yeah, it's just some dipshit in a mask every time.

GAHHHHI HATE Scooby Doo! My mom loves it tho... it's not even funny, and it's so stupid! And the way Freddie keeps saying Gang all the time! I just don't get why people enjoy it so much, and why it's so popular... And why do they even bother being scared? It's like have they not figured out after all these years that every stupid guy they catch is some stupid moron in a costume??? And scooby and shaggy always being hungry... who the hell does pot with thier dog anyway??? 0.0
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
