L-L-L-Lollipop

I... I honestly don't know where that title came from.

I completely assure you tho, that it has NOTHING to do with that TERRIBLE Lil' Wayne song....

I just thought it would be cute to go "LLLLLL!" as you say lollipop. And...you know, Dominiques cute and stuff, so...yes. She just might do that when she says lollipop, or something. Anyway. I really don't know what I'm doing anymore, just ignore me. XD

So.. I felt like drawing Dominique since I hadn't drawn her for a while. And for the record, I love when I watch Monster Quest, and they are talking to people who have seen the creatures they talk about, and then they say stupid things like "I threw this or that at them but they wouldn't leave!" or they tried to follow it or something. Good idea, buddy. Don't provoke it or anything. I'd love to have some unknown monster gnaw my leg off. *rolls eyes.* Anyway. End random comment.

I just wanted to draw Nicky because she's fun, and she's a bit of a challenge sometimes too. She's got a lot of REALLY fun features that I LOVE drawing - a bit of a bumpy nose, she's short and curvy, really fun, wild-type hair... I saw a cute picture of Selena Gomez (I THINK it was her) with a lollipop and it gave me some inspiration for this one. I think Dominique is one of my prettiest characters, and she's lots of fun too! I've been drawing more pictures of her lately. So.....Here is Dominique, with a lollipop! The mouth was actually quite fun to draw, because I don't think I've ever drawn a mouth like THAT before (If that makes any sense. I just mean that I've never really drawn teeth or a part that is supposed to represent teeth in the same fashion that is displayed here) so...yes. Errr... honestly, tho, I REALLY didn't mean for her to look so...provocative? Sexy? I dunno. She's also supposed to be wearing a corset-type shirt, so that is actually the reason why her boobs are like RIGHT THAR IN YOUR FACE. Her boobs aren't really supposed to be that big. But I admit that I do have fun drawing characters in sexiness, so I'm sure I just went "BAHHH what the hell. Might as well!" or something. I honestly don't know if her shirt was supposed to match her lolli, but it did anyway. I wanted to colour her in something other than black, because she usually wears black, and I don't put her in black she's usually wearing pink (she reminds me of myself. XD) so..I opted for...RED!

Which is kinda annoying, because if she isn't wearing black, or pink, then she's wearing red. XD But atleast she's wearing purple lipstick! I actually have a shade of lipstick in that colour and I love it! It's not as dark as Nicky's here, but it's still purple!

The background was done with watercolours, so nothing new there. And of course, we're all amazed at my FABULOUS JOB doing a border around a character THAT IS TOTALLY STRAIGHT AND NOT LOPSIDED IN THE LEAST. And for the record, that was supposed to be really sarcastic because, well, it's pretty flippin' lopsided. Not as bad as some of my older pictures, so maybe I'm getting better at drawing borders around my pictures.... DURRRRR!!! I know, I could probably just use a ruler but... believe it or not, I actually draw lines WORSE with rulers.

So yes. Honestly the border isn't that bad, but it's still kinda wobbly. That's okay, it makes it...unique! (Yes, I just keep telling myself that, and YES, it DOES make me feel better. XD)

I totally heart her hair. Maybe I should do something like that with my hair. Really long front, and then like, short back. She totally reminds me of 80's rock stars. I'm sure that's her inspiration for her haircut! Altho, honestly, her hair is TOO long for me to have on my head (seriously, I can't stand having my hair, like, over an inch long on my head, it drives me crazy. XD) but whatever. Her hair is sure fun to draw! And it's very shiny! Why do all my characters have such shiny hair, and where the hell can I get shiny hair like that?

For once, my scanner actually didn't eat this one alive. Well, it did, but not as bad as usual. Really, the only part that looks truly TERRIBLE is her red shirt. For some reason, my scanner CAN NOT comprehend red and I don't know why. I mean, it's not like red is a new colour or anything, scanner. But then I just remember that my scanner is a pile of turdshit (which is a newer evolved version of just regular shit.) and that anything is possible with it. The colouring on Nicky's shoulder and upper back actually looks pretty turdy too, so maybe the scan really is just as shitty as all of my other scans. But seriously tho, the scan isn't that terrible, just certain parts. I really wish I didn't have to bitch about my freakin' scans all the time, but really, they are truly terrible.

My only major complaint about this picture is I think her hand might be a little too small, but I really like how her hand came out so I... dunno. I only realized it right now... I always underestimate the size of hands, it's really irritating. I'm scared that I'll make them too big, but really hands are actually not that small so....Yeah. I think her other arm there, the one that is facing you, is too big too. And dammit I should stop talking about what didn't turn out in this picture because I keep finding more.

And my eyes keep going back to her boobs. They're just so....BOUNCY. Dammit, Dominique! Stop having lookable bewbs and staring at the view suggestively! THAT WASN'T MY INTENT!! *flails about irritatedly*

Ah well tho. She's still a cutie. I always have fun drawing her. She has cool studded bracelets and stuff. I had fun with this one and I'm pleased overall with how it came out. Now if only I could draw proper lines for borders......

Oh yeah, and the border in the scan looks gross too. Dammit scanner.

Anyway. So yes, just Dominique. AND HER BEWBS. She's precious!
