This originally was supposed to be Taylor, Melanie, and Cody.

But like always, whenever I'm doing group pictures, I ended up drawing one character super huge, therefore forcing me to squish the others in there. The problem, of course, being with this one, was that I in turn also screwed up Melanies proportions, and left no room for Cody, unless, of course, I wanted to draw her flying in the air, or squished in the back.

So I pretty much decided to not screw it up and leave well enough alone, and decided that Cody was on her period that day and decided not to come for a photoshoot, because Cody on her period is the equivilent to Godzilla's relationship with Tokyo.

So anyway, it's a nice sunny day, and GigantoTaylor and Stumpanie (Which is Stumpy and Melanie combined, you see.) decide to take a stroll, and they stop to look at something.

Or something of that nature. I actually like I said before, just wanted to draw a group picture but it just ended up being this. I got the inspiration for a Sears catalogue (lol, I love catalogues. LIKE OMG SHOPPING!), and then just kinda went from there. First off, I drew Taylor kinda...like..gigantic.. and odd.. and very unproportioned... and she's evidently picking something out of her teeth. And then..Melanie.. I like..drew her head too far down, because she's actually supposed to be behind Taylor, but then.. I made her.. like.. all stumpy like, and then I had to figure out a way to make it look like she was completely proportioned when she wasn't. My ingenious idea was to draw her wearing a dress, so that you couldn't see where her hips began. I'M SO FREAKIN SMART.

Course, naturally, it didn't work that well, because she looks all stumpy like, but I tried. I drew this one on this cardstock stuff that you use for scrapbooking. I liked the smooth texture, and I saw a lot of artistic potential for me to draw my little things, so I decided to buy some. The drawing, tho, is actually pretty small, compared to the size of the paper, so now that I think about it I probably could have added Cody in there somewhere, but if I remember correctly I drew the picture too far off to the side, but too wide, so the only way I could have drawn Cody was to draw her reaching out from Taylor and Melanie's head. Further making the proportions look really bad. Cody would have looked like one of those disgustingly hideous Glam dolls they have, with those giant legs.

Anyway, the background should have been more interesting, but I didn't like this one enough to give it a really high tech totlaly awesome super great background, so I just left it as a sky. I messed up the inking (WOW REALLY I WOULD HAVE NEVER GUESS THAT I WOULD MESS UP INKING.), but I think the colouring came out okay. I really like to colour on this stuff. It's all smooth. Like peanut butter. But smooth peanut butter. Not the crunchy kind.

*wants peanut butter now.*

And once again, its the return of the demented square encompassing my characters. I think this one came out okay, but I could have done better. I didn't quite know where I was going with TMac's hair so I just kinda made up something I thought was nice.

So now she looks like that creepy cat lady that may just live across the street from you.

My scanner managed to spare this one somewhat. It did tho decide to make the background florescent blue so that if you look at it, you are sure to be blinded. My apologies once again if you suffer from permanent eye damage caused once again by my scanner. I'm actually convinced that the scanned version of the background is it's own light source.

Anyway, nothing too exciting, just an awkward picture of Melanie and Taylor :D Melanie and Taylor here are © Jess Ratte :D

Save a Volkswagen, Ride a German Boy.
Awww I actually find that I have serious problems drawing them. I find them very tricky and I always screw atleast one character wrong... That's usually why my pictures are single character pictures, altho I do like to draw more then one character! They are very tricky sometimes!
