My Sisters Plushie Box Top

Description

For those of you who don't remember, or just never read my descriptions, because you honestly have better things to do than spend 8 hours piling through my descriptions of my pictures (what? You don't want to spend ALL DAY WITH JESS????)....

(No one wants to spend all day with Jess. Even you subconsciously don't want to spend time with yourself.)

Shut up Brain. Yes I do.

(I'm pretty sure you don't.)

*ignores Brain* Anyway, for those of you who never read my descriptions, to make things sweet and simple, I was broke during Christmas, had to think of unique gifts, so I bought my sister some coloured pencils, that didn't have a box, and decided to make her some boxes to put said pencils in.

I already showed you the top of my sisters first box, which can be found here: [link] , so I thought I'd show the top of the second box!

I admit that I like the second box more, since I realized my shitty construction paper attempt to decorate the boxes on the first one was pretty, well, shitty. So, for the second one, I bought some black paint, and then painted the box all black (which actually took more time than the pictures, since I had to put like five coats of paint on it. Go cheapo paint!) and then I would take the pictures, cut them out, and paste them about on the sides and top of the boxes.

For the second box, my original intent was to draw the characters "super deformed", or as most probably would call them, "chibi". You know, that thing animes tend to do. While I'm not exactly the biggest anime fan in the world, I like chibi because it's cute and small. Like a kitteh. But I also really suck at drawing it. No, really. I really suck. My style is just not...made to be chibi.

Really my characters just end up looking like midgets when I do draw it.

So I opted for something I thought was even cuter...HOW ABOUT PLUSHIES?? I previously drew a picture of me and a Plushie version of my boyfriend, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

For the second box, I wanted to draw pictures depicted the cute little relationships/flings/obsessions that my and my sisters characters have with each other. It's how I integrate my sisters characters into my characters lives and force them to get along. It's really special :icondelightfulplz:

Anyway, for the top, the most obvious choice was to draw a plushy Trekker and a Plushie Ratfink together, since well, they are like totally in love and stuff! So here we have PlushieTrekker dressed up like Captain Kirk, and Ratfink dressed up like.....Ratfink... I guess. XD And they are surrounded by hearts and going OH HAI!! and probably dancing while being beamed up somewhere.

And yes, I realize that the majority of you took that extremely wrong. And it is also the perfect time to use, That's what she said.

Anyway.

I bought my boyfriend a Star Trek shirt like that for Christmas, so Trekker is wearing the same shirt that Josh has XD It's so precious! Perhaps it gives Trekker insane sexual powers of Kirkness or something. Perhaps they are roleplaying. And Ratfink is a lonely lost alien girl. And Trekker seduces her with incredibly bad acting skills. Works every time.

Anyway, I'm all in all really happy with how this came out, altho I really do think Ratfink looks messed up for some reason. I actually blame it on my inking, because the scan isn't that bad and when my scans aren't bad, then its my inkings fault that my pictures look like crap. Of course, the scan is still, you know, brilliant like a horses ass, but its not incredibly miserable like you would typically expect from my scanner.

Anyway, these little plushie pictures are so much fun to draw. This box didn't take me all that long, it really just took me a long time to actually figure out how to draw the characters! I could have just drawing them normally like on the first box I did but I really just wanted some epic cuteness, and I thought my sister would get a kick out of plushiedom, since we all love plushies. And by golly, if I could sew, I'd totally make those plushies too! But unfortunately, I am incapable of sewing, so much so that I haven't even used that sewing machine my mom bought me for my birthday a few years back. (And, to be honest, I think it actually is broken.... the thread doesn't connect to the needle...thingie...)

(More than likely you are just doing it wrong, Moron.)

You know what Brain? Just...NO. *ignores Brain*

So yes. It's PLUSHIE TIME. :iconmc-hammer:

This was a lot of fun to do, I'd like to do more little boxes, altho I don't really have anything to put in it. Well no, thats a lie, I have tons of stuff to put in, the problem with me is that somehow, when I take art supplies out of their respective areas, they never seem to go back in there and just lay scattered about where I can never find them when I need them. Because I fail.

I love how their legs are all swingy. They kinda remind me of the octopus arms I'm always saying I would convert my characters arms with. I just wanna throw them around and watch thier legs go all WOOOOOHHHOHOOOOOO!! and stuff. *flails to show what she means*

I suppose that makes me a little disturbed, actually.

Anyway, so just the top of the second box, featuring Trekker and Ratfink! :D Trekkie is © to Jess Ratte, while Ratfink is © to :iconrat-lightshadow: :D
