OH HAI NIKO

NO, COMPUTER, I DON'T WANT TO DO UPDATES ON MY COMPUTER BECAUSE IMMA DOING SOMETHING RIGHT NOW!!

Anyway.

First off, sometimes I hate my life. But you see, I realize, now, after several years, why I hate my life. I hate my life, because my scanner...IS AN ASSHOLE. So before we go any further, I must warn you that not even Niko's beauty can be saved from the viciousness of my scanner.

It really is truly...EVIL.

Anyway. This is actually a bit of an older drawing, but I still like how it came out, so I just pulled it out one day and finished it, and then a few hundred million years later, I decided to post it. DUUURRRR I'm SPEEDY! LIKE SPEEDRACER! So anyway. I just wanted to draw Niko one day, just, you know, being Niko and like, um...walking around with some shoulderbag, and totally going all like OH HAI! and stopping for a picture. I don't know why I drew him holding a shoulder bag thing, he's all done school so that might not be it but..maybe he's going to Starbucks and totally be a hipster and use their Wifi because that's what hipsters do. Or something.

I seriously wish our Starbucks wasn't so freakin' tiny here. One day I just wanna go to Starbucks, and actually sit down and drink my 8 thousand dollar latte, but NO. Because there are like 2 @!#$! tables I always have to leave. See, this is why they actually always have to-go cups. Because they never have enough seats so you are forced to go. ZOMG I FIGURED IT OUT NAO! (I actually asked my boyfriend why Starbucks never had "for here" cups, because it actually kinda annoyed me XD) Gawsh Imma such a genius. I've totally figured out Starbucks and their no for here cups!

Anyway. So here is Niko, and he's just tra-la-laing along. Watch as his hair blows magically in the wind! Why? Because his hair is beautiful and magical! He'll probably be stopped on his way somewhere to be in a shampoo commercial. Why isn't he in shampoo commercials? He really should be. I actually had so much fun drawing his hair - I remember when I first drew Niko, I could never get his hair right but over time I managed to get it right. He's so shiny. He must be, like, a golden statue or something. He really does belong in a museum.

So yeah, this is a little bit of an older picture, but I still like it. Obviously I still like it because I'm willing to post it. Most of my older pictures don't even make it to this point. XD I'm not too sure why his bag is faced that way... It would make more sense to draw the "open flap" the other way or something, wouldn't it? I don't know. Who cares. HIS HAIR, PEOPLE. HIS BEAUTIFUL HAIR! IT'S RIDICULOUS.

Anyway, really my only major complaint about this one is his arm, the one holding the bag. I don't know if it's the way I shaded it or what but I don't think it looks right. Like, it looks okay, I guess, but it looks a little bit off. Dunno honestly how I could have fixed it... Maybe not make it so...fat? Or something? I don't know. His hand looks weird. I honestly don't know what I could have done to fix that either. But I tried so... like...that totally counts for something, I think. But we're all not really paying attention to his arms, are we?

Duh, we're paying more attention to his beautiful hair than anything XD Honestly his arm is the only thing I can really bitch about with this one, aside from the obvious, which I will get to later. I pretty much like the rest of it. I did the background with some watercolours! I've had these Crayola watercolours for the last little while now and I just love them! For one, I don't have to squeeze out watercolours from a tube, which just so you know is yet another added step I have to do because Imma lazy pile it's really hard for me - and two, sometimes I squeeze out too much watercolours and then I end up wasting a bunch. So these are just nice since they are on a palette and I can just randomly choose what colours I want. I also like the look of them as well too. The paper that I used for this picture had this really interesting texture that my watercolours more or less refused to blend together like they do with my other cardstock papers, and I just like the messyish look they give the backgrounds. I know it's really not that exciting but...I don't know. I like it anyway. It's kinda chaotic... like my hair. My hair is very chaotic on most days. TEE HEE.

Unlike Nikos, which is pretty much perfect all the time, every day, all day. Really, how does he do it? He must tell us his secrets.

Now, on to the part of this picture I really hate....GAJRJEAS;FDAIO;WEJI;RAOUJR;OIAUJR;IOAIOR;JEASL ZOMG FOR SERIOUSLY WHAT THE HELL SCANNER??? Now I'm sure you all figured out by now that my scan of this is just terrible but...OMG seriously. What a gross pile of crap my scanner produced this time. I honestly don't know where it came up with this, this isn't even remotely what the picture looks like in real life. My scanner is just jealous because we all like Niko and hate Scanner. WELL GOSH SCANNER MAYBE IF YOU WEREN'T A DICKFACE WE'D LIKE YOU TOO. This has everything a Jessscan needs:

-Grainy as hell
-Blurry as hell
-Eyebleeds to be had.

It really is terrible. Great, my scanner hates Niko now. My scanner pretty much hates all of my characters, but what he did to Niko is wrong. Wrong dammit! Imma calling the cops on my scanner. And they'll arrest him.

Well, they probably will think I'm crazy, but anyway. You all know by now my scanner is just...beyond EVIL. So please, if you haven't already, please ignore the scan. I hate what my scanner does to my life. I'll get you back one day scanner. One day. And you won't expect it, you sunnuvabitch. I'll bash yo' mutha-....

Anyway. So yes, the scan is terrible. You probably didn't need to see the picture to know that my scans are awful tho, really. That's just a given with my artwork.

Anyway. So just a random Niko, walkin' about. Doesn't he look darlin? He's so charming without really being charming! He's so full of Germaness OH YAY GERMANESS! Oh please talk German to us, Niko!

So yes, just Niko! I like how it came out! I hate the scan... but look! IT'S NIKO! AND HIS HAIR! That counts for something. XD
