Oh HAI Ryerson

OH HAI RYERSON!

Sometimes, I have these INSANE urges to draw certain characters. I mean, like these are insane urges. I don't know why I get these urges, I just do. Maybe its because I want to use them for a fashion experiment. Maybe it's because I haven't drawn them for a while. Maybe, and most probably, its because I have absolutely no life. So, what does Jess do with her urges? (HUUURRR WOULDN'T YOU LIKE TO KNOWWWW!!!) She draws this said character OBSESSIVELY to get it out of her system.

And thats what happened with little ol' Ryerson here. First, this urge started with, I like strawberry blonde hair (LULWUT???). Then it continued with, Ryerson has strawberry blonde hair! And then... it went like so: RYERSON HAS A LOT OF PLAID! I LIKE SCARFS! RYERSON LIKES SCARFS TOO! OMG RYERSON! RYERSON! RYERSON! SCARFS PLAID STRAWBERRY PLAID HAIR RYYYYERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOONNNNNNN!!! *flailing*

And so, I drew Ryerson obsessively. So here is one of my Ryerson pictures I drew, and as you can see, it brings you ALL THE EXCITEMENT of my drawings - A completely new, exciting pose full of dynamo, a squiggly background that I've like totally never did before, and a character smiling making us all think they're creepy because they are smiling at nothing. Yes, so much excitement, once again, in one of my amazing drawings. /sarcasm.

So anyway, I was also having a scarf fetish *rubs a scarf sensually* and decided that Ryerson should be wearing a scarf. That hopefully looks like a scarf and not an octopus wrapped around his neck. I had more fashion designing fun with him like always I have him a blazer - I really like the whole blazer with jeans/other kind of pants besides dress pants thing for some reason. I dunno why, but its like this complete clash of classy and casual. And it just goes together so well. I sorta wish I made it slightly more vintage looking, maybe by adding gaudy 70's patterns or something. Or those little patches on the elbows or something. (OMG NAO I HAVE TO DRAW RYERSON IN THAT KINDA JACKKKETT!) But either way I still like it. And then of course, an plaid shirt thingie The pants actually aren't supposed to be jeans, but its somewhat hard to distinguish between jeans and those khaki pant thingies XD

I just adore his nose and his face here! I think Ryerson totally PWNS the 5 o'clock shadow. XD

Again with the background, I used some watercolour pencils - I hadn't originally planned for this picture to be so colourful but in the end it did and I really like how it is And then I did a plaidy design with markers as well in the background before going over it with water... dunno if you can really see it since it blended in and stuff, but still. XD I love his hand here... Nothing exciting I know, but I just like how I drew his hand. It's almost like he's going to do a karate chop...

Wait...wait a minute... The beard. The karate chop......Oh...oh my god... Could it be that...Ryerson.. is not really Ryerson, but CHUCK NORRIS DISGUISED AS RYERSON???? WATCH IT! THERES ANOTHER FIST BEHIND THAT BEARD!

*"Ryerson" stares at you and blows up your balls* *roundhouse kick to the face explodes your brain*

(But really tho, if Chuck Norris was really disguised as Ryerson in this picture, Ryerson wouldn't be smiling. He'd be ripping out your throat with his bare hands. Even quicker then Rambo did. He'd also take your intestines out at the same time and eat them. Or something.)

Anyway. Nothing super exciting as usual, just Ryerson, because I really wanted to draw him I like the end results, altho the scan could have came out a bit better...The paper was still a little wobbly from the watercolour pencils XD But I still like this one Had a lot of fun with his outfit as per usual
