Totally Like Gal Pals

Dunno where the title came from, quite honestly. I think I already have a picture in my gallery called "Gal Pals" so I just crapped out whatever I was thinking I guess.

Anyway, so I'm just going through all my drawings that are sitting in my queue and thought I'd post this one, even tho I was going to post something else, but decided that this one was actually somewhat better than the one that I was thinking of originally, even tho this one is older. And usually with my stuff, my old things then to be infinitely fuglier than my newer stuff.

But sometimes I surprise myself. I suppose I just draw fugly stuff....ALL THE TIME.

*puts her cup infront of one of her characters* Go fetch me more tea, servant, pronto!

*character smashes cup over my head* ...I get no respect.

Anyway. So as you all know, and as I feel constantly compelled to explain, I've been wanting to draw more !exciting! pictures lately. (Yes, so exciting that it has to have exclamation points on either end of the word!) So, I've been drawing more and more group pictures because they're slightly more challenging than characters standing around pictures. (Hey, characters standing around poses are hard too, dammit.) It's really just about the heights and making the characters look right near each other, which I forever seem to fail at.

So this time I thought I'd whip out another one of my girlies Mellers, Claricers, Alexers, and Amers. They're like totally best friends like! Even tho, you know, if Clarice ever found out about Amy sleeping around with Ricky she'd probably think she was a slutwhoreskank (which is the most skankiest of skanks, you see.), and Alex wants to sleep with her best friend Amy's man but because she isn't as sad and pathetic as Amy she doesn't do so to fill a large gap in her soul like Amy does with Ricky. (Errr, or a large gap in her..um... va- oh nevermind.)

And if Clarice found out that her man would totally do her best friend Melanie if given the opportunity Melanie would probably also be a major slutwhoreskank as well. Good think Melanies too busy screwin' around with M-A-C *spells it out to be super sneaky and that maybe Melanie won't notice I totally went there so that she won't throw large, heavy blunt objects at me.*

*Melanie, however, is smarter than me and figures it out and throws a very large bowling ball at my head. Good thing I've done yoga and can bend out of the way.*

Melanie: NEXT TIME, JESS. NEXT TIME IMMA GET YOU.

Anyway. So I felt like drawing them together. I know, my characters and the relationships they get into are confusing. I think they should just look outside of their social circle for people to sleep with. Might make things less complicated. But I'm sure because I'm magical I'd MAKE things complicated regardless of the scenario. (Anyway, my characters sleep with people outside of their social circle anyway. So I guess it doesn't matter. I suppose this gives me another excuse to create more characters OH YAY!) So here they are. This is kinda old, and this was drawn during this period I was going through where I failed at drawing eyes properly and made them too small. It really irritates me, quite frankly. But I still think this one came out okay. So here they are. Melanie over thar, Clarice giving Melanie a big girl hug, Alex being Alex, and Amy all like HAI! I like how this came out, but I kinda screwed up on Alex so I had to cover my fails with her hair. Thank god she has long hair - dunno what I'd do without her long hair to cover my fails. Yes, Alex really is tall. I always wanted to be super tall like Lexi, altho I can only imagine how hard it would be to find clothes! (Hence why she makes her own! ) And little Clarice! God, she's so tiny XD I think Amy is my favourite here (she seems to turn out in group pics). I'd totally kill to have her figure, seriously 0.0 I'd love to have her rack. I like Melanies tunic that she's wearing. I think my least favourite here is Clarice... she just... I dunno she looks kinda off. Her arm is too long, and I messed up her eyes and well yeah. I dunno, just don't really like how she came out. *swats her* TURN OUT BETTER!

I like Alex for the most part but I was having a hell of a time drawing her body. I think she looks kinda stumpy (like her body is too short) but I tried. So that counts for something. And I think I forgot to draw the rest of her leg (on your left) but coloured it. It looks kinda creepy. I completely fail. Seriously.

Amy isn't supposed to be pointing at anything. I just didn't know what to do with her hands, so I was like, Here, point at something, Amy. Or she could just be flailing her arms around like she just doesn't care.

(That's "waving her arms in the air like she just doesn't care", Jess. Crap, you even fail at cliche sayings used in songs all the time.)

Shut up Brain.

Anyway, Alex isn't supposed to be touching Amy's boobies, she's supposed to have her arm around her shoulders or whatever, it's just that Amy's bewbs always get in the way like all the time because they are just so giant. Sometimes I wish my boobs would get in the way. But they don't because they are stupid and small. I guess if I had big boobs I'd find them really annoying (from what I hear from friends and acquaintances with larger bewbs) but dammit. I also wish I could pull off a mini skirt like Amy can. Dammit Amy, stop being so hot.

I kinda hate Melanies face here too. Her mouth and lips are too big so therefore she looks...horsefacelike. Ninny like a horse, Melanie. (that IS what they call a horses sound beside "nehhhh!!" right? Or am I just making shit up again?) It would amuse me. *waits....*

Melanie: You #$!#$!$#!@ off would amuse me.

I like to pretend my characters really love me and don't hate me. Anyway, so here they are. The background was done with watercolour pencils, which I'm sure you all find super exciting and that I NEVER DO THAT IN MY PICTURES EVAR. But I really like how it came out actually. I like the gradual change from reddy colours to bluey colours. It makes me feel epic. Epic like epic donkeys.

Seriously, what size is Clarice? Do they even MAKE her size? Crickey. She looks like she's like 000000000000000 here or something. I assure you she eats. (She hates being as small as she is)

And yes, that piece of crap you see on the picture was just my scanner, you know, what it does best, shitting all over my pictures and my happiness. Actually the scan isn't as bad as we're used to, but it's still pretty bad.

And do you ever listen to your iTunes playlist on random and won't what dafuq you have on there and why haven't you deleted some of it? 0.0 Anyway.

So yes, just a fun picture of my gals together. Could be better...

But hey. It could be worse. MUCH, MUCH, MUCH WORSE.
